Local Storage Only

All budget data, including income, expenses, projects, and daily budgets, is stored locally on your device using your browser's IndexedDB storage. Your financial data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers or any third parties.

No Account Required

budgetyour.finance does not require user registration, authentication, or account creation. We do not collect, store, or process any personally identifiable information (PII) such as names, email addresses, or contact details.

No Server-Side Data Collection

We do not collect, store, or process your budget data on our servers. The application operates entirely within your browser, and your data remains under your exclusive control.

Analytics and Tracking

budgetyour.finance does not currently use analytics tools, tracking cookies, or third-party services to monitor your usage. We do not track your browsing behavior, financial data, or application usage patterns.

Data Control and Portability

Your Data, Your Control

You maintain complete control over your data. You can:

  • Export your budget data at any time using the Backup feature
  • Delete individual budgets or all data from your device
  • Import previously exported data using the Restore feature
  • Clear all application data by clearing your browser's storage

Data Retention

Your budget data persists in your browser's local storage until you explicitly delete it, clear your browser data, or uninstall your browser. We do not have access to your data and cannot delete it on your behalf.

Third-Party Services

budgetyour.finance does not integrate with or share data with any third-party services, APIs, or external platforms. The application functions entirely offline and independently.

Security

While your data is stored locally and not transmitted over the internet, we recommend:

  • Using a secure, up-to-date browser
  • Protecting your device with appropriate security measures
  • Regularly backing up your data using the export feature
  • Being cautious when using shared or public devices

Children's Privacy

budgetyour.finance does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13. As we do not collect any personal information, users of all ages may use the application in accordance with applicable laws.
